Goals for 2018

9th February 2018

I debated long and hard about whether or not to write a blog about goals.  One, because I’m not fully convinced that setting goals makes you more likely to be successful.  Maybe they just make the failure more painful.  And, two, publicising these goals can make you look a bit of a tw*t.

But, as it’s now February and I expect the new year fashion for such things has passed, so at least I’m being contrary…and I’m used to looking a bit of a tw*t,  I’m going to do it anyway.

Seriously though, it is important to me that Financial Freedom Sooner is transparent and open.  The hope is that by sharing this stuff that the clients I work will feel a bit more involved in the journey that we are on together.

So, here we go…

Business

·       Provide a service to all clients that they want to tell their friends about

·       Get 20 new clients

·       Turnover £40,000

·       Pay myself £15,000

·       Pass two exams to move towards becoming a Chartered Financial Planner

·       Give something to charity – either a small donation or some of my time

Personal

·       Get a little bit better everyday

·       Read 30 books

·       Meditate daily

·       Get better at telling stories

·       Run a half marathon personal best

·       Appreciate how lucky I am

·       List my mistakes and learn from them

I’ll let you know at the end of the year how all these went.
